關於 Dr. John

Hello everyone!
I am Dr.John and I am a board certified plastic surgeon.

My family immigrated to Vancouver, Canada when I was three-years old. I grew up there and completed high school as well as one year of university (University of British Columbia) before coming back to Taiwan for medical school at Chang Gung University.

Growing up in Canada, I loved sports. Soccer, basketball, and rugby were sports teams I enjoyed playing on. Soccer was also one of the main reasons I met and became close friends with Dr. Blue. The Vancouver Canucks Hockey Club is my region, and hopefully I can see them win the Stanley Cup during my lifetime. Nowadays, my past time activities include jump rope, running, working out as well as cooking.

Upon graduating medical school from Chang Gung University (CGU), I went down south to Kaoshiung Chang Gung Medical Hospital (CGMH) for one year of internship, before returning to Linkou CGMH.

It is in Linkou CGMH, where I completed one year of Post Graduate Year (PGY) training, followed by two years of General Surgery training and four years of Plastic Surgery training.

After being certified as a plastic surgeon by the Taiwanese Society of Plastic Surgery (TSPS), as an attending surgeon, I was able to practice in various hospitals around Taiwan, in order to explore this beautiful island.

Through this website, I hope to share some of my clinical experiences as well as let you know more about me, both as a plastic surgeon and as a person. Thank you for visiting this website!
